The space doctor - Malaysia's newly found Hero!

Last nite, like other millions of patriotic Malaysians, I witnessed one of the most historic moment in Malaysian history, where Dr Sheikh Muszaphar (DSM) became the first Malaysian astronaut to be launced to the wide open space. We watched Tv3 for the exclusive live telecast. I hold my hubby's hand tightly as we watched the rocket slowly took off. Aku plak tetiba rasa nervous, & kept on praying that no accident would happened. Bila tengok camne rocket tu naik keatas rasa macam tak percaya ada sorang rakyat Malaysia dalam tu. Then, ada tunjuk imej para angkasawan dlm rocket, & DSM looked a bit nervous. Yelah,,sapa x nervous kan for first timers. I bet the other two experienced astronauts must have encountered the same feeling during their first time launching. My nervous only dissapeared about 15 mins later after the rocket had been launched. Praise to Allah, Soyuz TMA-11 safely entered into the orbit when I saw the floating pen inside the rocket. I cant hide my admiration towards DSM for his enormous feat. But dont forget Capt. Dr Faiz Khaled, the ATM dentist who also managed to be the back-up astronaut. He also deserves a credit for his determination. Few days before, I asked Maia, my younger sis about which one of these two lads deserve the spot. She choosed DSM. Why? I guessed many teenage girls would agree with this - coz he's handsome! Ahahaha..I used to be like that too..go for looks!
